Some behind the scenes shots of filming in Brixham today. Thanks to all those who chatted so openly about business, housing, parking, fishing regulations, govt support, Brexit and more.

RT @doctor_oxford: We didn't have parties to "boost morale"
We didn't have quiz nights
We didn't have champagne
We watched our colleagues die though
We were STEEPED in death
We kept going
We had to
We kept on
So don't you DARE say your parties were "necessary" @borisjohnson
You make me sick.

Loving the post work workout of 500+ leaflets and some steep hills. We’ll be fit by May 4th! It must be election time 😁

Looking forward to it!
RT @Devon4Europe: We've got some great speakers lined up for Saturday!
@carolinevoaden
@benwhlong from @SDevonPrimary
@countcaspargh
as well as DfE admins. 10:30 - 11:30 Bedford Square

Great to see @timfarron pushing for changes in planning law to prioritise homes for permanent residents not short-term holiday lets.

Now let’s see if @michaelgove means it when he says the govt will act. Somehow I doubt it but I’d like to be proved wrong.
RT @timfarron: The collapse of the long term private rented sector into Airbnb has resulted in a huge housing crisis in Cumbria.

Glad to secure the commitment from the Secretary of State for Housing and Levell…

@DeepSpaceT @AnthonyMangnal1 @WCountryVoices We’re seeing these from Conservative associations across the country. East Devon the nearest I’ve seen so far. I don’t think it’s allowed under electoral rules - we certainly don’t do it. It’s a cynical data gathering exercise in disguise.

Proud to be in a party that wants to treat desperate refugees as human beings, not criminals.

Moving speeches by @amcarmichaelMP @timfarron @IrinavonWiese

RT @LibDems: Members at this morning passed a motion laying out our alternative to the Conservative's illegal, immoral and ineffective small boats plans.

The only way to stop the criminal gangs is with safe and legal routes to sanctuary.

A great weekend catching up with Liberal friends. Proud of our policies on immigration, access to dentistry, insulating homes and more. Consulting on food and farming policy. And hearing @EdwardJDavey calling out Brexit for the harm it’s done to our economy.

RT @LibDems: Motion passed ✅

Members at have just passed a motion to cut energy bills, invest in renewable energy and insulate all homes by 2030. ⚡️

RT @euromove: 👏 Watch Lib Dem leader @EdwardJDavey receive a one minute standing ovation for calling out the “elephant in the room of British politics.”

“If you want to boost our economy, you have to repair our broken relationship with Europe.”

Utterly shameless

But then they know they can’t win with their own brand so they’re hoping that stealing someone else’s will work.
RT @EdwardMorelloWD: Look at this! The @Conservatives know their brand is toxic. No logo, no blue. Trying to pass themselves off as @TheGreenParty.

Really enjoyed taking part in a consultation on @LibDems Food and Farming policy today with @HertsFarmer and @timfarron
Some really great contributions to what will be a sound comprehensive policy.

@GeorgeMonbiot Twitter telling me to turn off 2FA but when I try it won’t work. Says I’ll be locked out on Sunday. V confusing

Great to be back with friends and colleagues from all over at Lib Dem conference in York, and catching up with our former MEP crew. It’s been a while.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/CarolineVoade

RT @LibDems: The Conservatives' windfall tax is so weak that it will now bring in £15.7bn less than was forecast in November.

Sunak is letting oil and gas companies off the hook while allowing your energy bills to rise again this April.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/CarolineVoade

@mrfm01 I think you’ll find there aren’t any Lib Dems on Plymouth CC so none there to abstain. But our green credentials are solid and we wouldn’t support the felling of 100+ mature trees.

Public services just don’t matter to people who can buy their way out of needing them.
What a tone deaf budget from a govt that could have done so much more. They really don’t listen do they?

Time for a change.

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/CarolineVoade

RT @RichardFoordLD: This budget will be a hammerblow to families, who are still left drowing in huge energy bills. The Govt has ignored @LibDems proposals to CUT bills by £500 by making oil & gas company pay a proper windfall tax. This shows just how out of touch they are.
