RT @CeeMacBee: The idea that lower taxes and better regulation won't help inflation is the real fantasy capx.co/nnIdn via @CapX

RT @trussliz: I’m a low-tax Conservative.

I believe the way we get to greater economic growth is through lower taxes, less regulation, investing in skills and attracting business to this country.

You can’t tax your way to growth.

RT @trussliz: We live in an increasingly dangerous world where the threat level is higher than a decade ago.

As Prime Minister, I will get defence spending to 3% by 2030 to keep this country safe.

People can trust me to do that.

@JamieBrysonCPNI @MorrisseyHelena @trussliz Suellla threw her lot in with @trussliz; that is worthy of note.

@CeeMacBee The reduction of £19 bln assumes all other things being equal. There is a long history of reduced rates yielding a greater take.

Reduced corp tax is needed more than ever to boost businesses after two years of lockdown damage and spiralling costs.

And to attract FDI.

@MarkinDowgate By his own admission the economy needs rebuilding; he wants us to trust him again.

Reducing taxes on goods is not inflationary. It reduces the cost of goods and therefore inflation.

He had increased taxes to record levels before inflation hit.

He’s borrow, tax and spend

@PickardJE Brexit idiocy again from the FT. The paper should cease moaning and acknowledge the one sector which hasn’t got a deal (their sector) is flourishing.

Absolutely brexit hasn’t been delivered.

NI; fishing; LPF; EAW to name a few.

@JohnRentoul I certainly don’t want slick. I want honest competence. Rishi is slick.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/benhabib6/status/154

And what about the central promise you made to gain election: delivering the country out of the EU as one United Kingdom?

Do you really think Brexit is done?

@KemiBadenoch
RT @KemiBadenoch: As Prime Minister I will always tell the people the truth. My Government would not over promise and under deliver.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/benhabib6/status/154

RT @trussliz: I have a clear record of delivery.

I’ve shown what I can do already on Brexit, on trade and on Ukraine.

I’ve shown that I’m trusted to deliver.

RT @drdavidbull: I think Badenoch and Tugenhat just shot themselves in the foot when they said Brexit is done and it’s time to move on. Well guess what ? It isn’t . We must finish what we started and make Brexit the success it could and should be @TiceRichard

RT @june_mummery: I will create MILLIONS of green jobs ? You can’t get greener than the fishing industry and @Conservatives sold that out. Millions of green jobs in what ? Please help me out Guy’s ⚓️@benhabib6 @MartinDaubney @TiceRichard

RT @trussliz: We cannot have a continuity economic policy which isn’t doing enough in the current crisis.

We need action on the economy and a vision for a bold new approach.

I will deliver that 👇

When wages rise, so does the cost of the public sector. That results in higher public spending. Govt debt goes up.

He is suffocating the economy by not cutting taxes.

He doesn’t know how to get out of the problems he created.

Don’t be shy. Call him out!

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/benhabib6/status/154

If he does not cut taxes on goods, wage demands will increase. Inflation will become embedded in the system. He’s fuelling inflation by not cutting taxes. 3/4
