I have now read the command paper and associated draft legislation supporting

The deal does not restore Northern Ireland to its rightful place in the United Kingdom.
It does not remove the Irish Sea border
It explicitly recognises the above and seeks to neuter Brexit for Great Britain.
We needed a bold new optimistic vision for Northern Ireland as part of the UK. For it to be integrated constitutionally, politically and economically.
What we got was the embedding of the Protocol and the perpetuation of its financial dependency.
Restoring Stormont will only serve to damage Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom
Unionism now faces an even bigger uphill struggle.

Extraordinary tweet from the person who put the Protocol in place, left Northern Ireland behind in the EU, and failed subsequently to do anything about it.
Committed the rest of the UK to regulatory alignment with the EU through a level playing field to which he said he would never commit.
And threw our fishing industry under a bus.

It would appear that a precondition for the restoration of Stormont is the passing of crucial legislation.
It is this legislation which must be made public in draft before the deal can be judged.
Parliament is supreme and it could set aside the Irish Sea border.
If that is the effect of the legislation then I would, of course, support the deal.
We must see the draft legislation.
