I see some people saying @Jeremy_Hunt budget not as bad as feared. It could not be much worse.
Tax on business up. Tax on investment up. Tax on investment returns up. Millions paying more income tax.
No one should assume we can bounce back from this.

In her first budget in 1979, when inflation was around 10%, Thatcher cut the higher rate of tax from 83% to 60% and the basic rate from 33% to 30%.
She knew she had to grow the economy.
@Jeremy_Hunt has done the opposite, increasing taxes.
Maggie was a Conservative.
