@BrandonLewis Presumably the Bill represents the bare minimum HMG believes to be required in order to rectify the Protocol? Presumably all it contains is essential? So there cannot be compromise in HMG’s position?

Exactly right. If we wish to deter illegal migrants, at the very least stop providing a free taxi service to our shores!

For your info: the Trade & Cooperation Agreement @BorisJohnson and @DavidGHFrost signed with the EU commits the UK to the ECHR.
We cannot just leave without being also prepared for a bust up with the EU.
