I asked the SoS for Wales about the #UKSharedProsperityFund & if local authorities would have to pay back monies they had not spent because of the very tight timescale. The SoS didn't have the answer. Later, he said that it would have to be paid back to the UK Govt by 2024/25.

In today's Welsh Affairs Select Committee, the SoS for Wales said that if #HS2 had been categorised by the UK Govt as an English only project, which it is, Wales would have received extra funding. Wales has been short-changed by the Tories & the new SoS for Wales has admitted it.

@thom_brooks Or, as it now seems to be the case, the breach was serious, Braverman did not give an honest account of what happened, and the new PM should NOT have appointed her.
