I asked the Govt Minister about the former Home Secretary's resignation. Everyone knows the official reason for her being sacked was a minor breach of the Ministerial Code. The real reason was a blazing row with Truss over immigration policy.

Absolute chaos amongst the Tories in Westminster. Arguments between Tory MPs outside the voting lobbies.

Keir Starmer - “The Prime Minister says she is in charge but the evidence this weekend suggests she is in office but not in power.”

As Jeremy Hunt does the media round, it is becoming increasingly clear that Truss is finished. Already she is PM in name only. Hunt is setting out an economic agenda which contradicts virtually everything Truss has said and done.

@PippaCrerar Hunt believes Truss is finished. His comments are for the near future. It is ridiculous to have the Chancellor and PM holding and expressing such divergent views.
