No Dan, the relevant issue is whether it passes the smell test. It does not and so his leadership ambitions are finished.
RT @DPJHodges: The only relevant issue in relation to Rishi Sunak's wife is does she pay the amount of tax she is legally required to pay in the UK. If she does, and people don't think that's enough, fine - change the tax laws. But until then she has no obligation to pay anything more.

RT @PowerNotPoverty: "If we go down this route of more renewables, more wind farms, electricity prices in the next 5-10 years will double or treble again from these levels."

Govt energy plan today will result in much higher electricity prices as relies on much more expensive, subsidized renewables that caused electricity prices to soar over last 15 years. Our shale gas treasure saves CO2 & cuts prices. digitaleditions.telegraph.co.u

RT @LozzaFox: House broken into and installed CCTV. House broken into again on Christmas Eve. Have clear CCTV of both burglars coming in and leaving with my kids Christmas presents. Scuffled with burglar outside sons bedroom. Apprehended. Lack of evidence according to the CPS. Free for all.

Had CCTV evidence of burglars faces break into industrial units last year. Gave to Greater Manchester police. They said could not use it. Knew who people were but unwilling to prosecute. Why do we bother paying taxes for useless policing?
RT @JuliaHB1: Shoplifting is now legal. A thread: ⬇️

I went to my local high street chemist and yet again they had almost bare shelves of the make-up brand I use (yes, Artex, of course). I asked …

RT @JuliaHB1: So the store loses £2k a week, the staff are scared and customers subsidise the losses by paying higher prices.

Because we have, de facto, legalised theft in the UK.

This cannot be allowed to continue.

So, @pritipatel @metpoliceuk, what are you going to do about it?

RT @JuliaHB1: When the store manager calls the police, identifies the shoplifters by name and asks for them to be prosecuted, the police do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. None of the shoplifters is questioned or arrested, witness statements are not taken, they don't even look at the CCTV evidence.

RT @JuliaHB1: The store employs a full time security guard but he's not legally allowed to touch the shoplifters so he can't stop them leaving the store. If he shuts and locks the store doors, the shoplifters throw baskets at the staff and wreck the shop, so he has to let them go free.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/TiceRichard/status/1

RT @JuliaHB1: The shoplifters are organised criminals, all British, and the store manager has CCTV images of all of them repeatedly stealing the stock. They steal the make-up to order and sell it online. He says they lose - I kid you not - £2,000 of stock a WEEK to the shoplifters.

RT @JuliaHB1: What happens is that every time the staff of this store (a well known high street name, but he asked to be anonymous) put the make-up products on the shelves, shop lifters turn up, raid the shop and steal it all within hours - and sometimes even in minutes.

A third of “Covid patients” caught Covid while in hospital.
ICU Covid numbers - around 257 - are small and haven’t changed for months.

NEVER FORGET what Putin’s forces have done & are doing. Sanctions must be tightened, & not be eased until barbaric Putin has gone. No easing of sanctions with any ceasefire deal.

Blatant lie by @KwasiKwarteng.
Renewables get huge subsidies over £10 bn pa, RPI linked, plus huge system costs. Electricity price trebled 2004-2020 as renewables %age grew, whilst gas prices remained stable. US gas prices low as use domestic US shale gas. We can do same.
RT @KwasiKwarteng: Gas is expensive. Renewables are cheap.

The more cheap, clean power we generate in Britain, the less exposed we’ll be…

RT @IsabelOakeshott: I have this horrible, horrible feeling that after some form of 'peace' is negotiated between Russia and Ukraine, the west will swiftly allow Russia to come in from the cold, because it is convenient. While Putin remains in power, that should NEVER happen.
