RT @TfL: A strike by station staff is planned across the Tube network on Monday 6 June
We will keep as many stations as possible open, but we expect that this strike will cause severe disruption and the closure of many Tube stations
RT @SadiqKhan: The Tory bus cuts explained: 🧵
1️⃣ During the pandemic, Londoners did the right thing and stayed at home to save lives.
But doing so decimated TfL's finances because it is so reliant on fares revenue.
RT @MayorofLondon: Two weeks ago, the Prime Minister and I opened the Elizabeth line with Her Majesty the Queen. Two weeks later, and the Government is forcing cuts to London’s iconic bus network.
My letter to the PM:

What a great day! Congratulations to everyone who made this landmark railway a reality. Decades in the making, and a new line Londoners can be rightly proud of. 💜💜 #ElizabethLine
RT @JamesCleeton: Super exciting to see the #ElizabethLine finally open its doors to the public. London is a world class city that needs world class joined-up public transport. This will help millions of people travel into and around the capital without the need for a car. @SebDance @willnorman
@jessicaelgot Only initially. Later this year you will be able to travel through without changing. In the meantime, the journey across Central London will be very much quicker, and the change at Paddington is comparable to - if not easier than - the change from the Bakerloo.
RT @AlstomUK: It's great to see @SadiqKhan onboard the Elizabeth line this morning, not only fantastic news for London, but for Derby too! Alstom designed, manufactured and tested the trains in Derby for @TfL The project helped to support 760 UK jobs and 80 apprenticeships #mobilitybynature
