RT @UKLabour: Today, on International Women's Day, we celebrate women's achievements in Britain and across the world.
We know there is still so much more to do.

By intervention areas does he mean places like Leicester?
Places like Leicester where we were kept in extended lockdown, with families making huge sacrifices.
It was obvious Ear Out Help Out was a huge risk - and this confirms it - and confirms Govt knew that.
RT @jessicaelgot: Matt Hancock admits in this message to Simon Case that he helped cover up rising cases in key areas during Eat Out to Help Out. Strikes me as potentially the biggest revelation yet…

Iain is right.
And isn’t it the case that these Tory MPs complaining about Sue Gray seem more angry about this than what was happening in Downing Street when the rest of us were in lockdown.
RT @IainDale: Enough with the confected outrage about Sue Gray. When I was a publisher I had many dealings with her. I and everyone she has ever worked with regard her as a woman of total integrity. Exactly the sort of person who'd make a fantastic chief of staff. Starmer has …

RT @leicesterliz: Ministers repeatedly claim they threw a “protective ring” around care homes during the pandemic but nothing could be further from the truth. The families of the 43,000 people who died from Covid in care homes deserve proper answers about what happened, not this continued denial

This is very important work from @JoCoxFoundation
There will always be different views and ideas in politics and public discourse - that’s healthy for democracy, but intimidation, abuse and violence isn’t and must be tackled 👇
RT @JoCoxFoundation: 📢 Today we launch the Jo Cox Civility Commission.
In the last seven years, Jo Cox MP and Sir David Amess MP were murdered as they met their constituents.
Abuse and intimidation of elected representatives, including v…

Many years ago I organised trips and visits to Westminster for school groups - the @UKParlEducation team is a great resource we are fortunate to have.
Daughter had a great day yesterday, such enriching, important opportunities 👇

RT @TrussellTrust: 🧵 We live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and yet people in the UK are going without the essentials we all need to get by.
We can’t always deal with what life throws at us on our own, and we need a system in place that supports us all. ⤵️
