Watching the Great Events of WW11 on Netflix with historian @sauldavid66 among others I am stunned by Putin making the very same mistakes as Hitler. Also by the similarities between the battles of Bakhmut and Stalingrad. Even the ghastly word “meatgrinder”.

Mahonia. The gift that keeps on giving. Bees out very early (too early?) and overwintering ones in December and January love the yellow flowers. Now the purple berries are being scoffed by that blackbird. Even squirrels take them! See @the_beeguy for info on bees.
