As I said when that disgusting emerged, Shaun Bailey and his campaign team are a complete and utter disgrace. They do not deserve to be given honours. Rishi Sunak should grow a backbone and do something about it. t.co/tLk6O2XkMZ

Re For comparison, this is what my @LondonLibDems campaign team and I did on Monday 14 December. We sat and had lunch in the freezing cold and rain outside The George Inn by London Bridge, because that's what the rules allowed. t.co/cTxpxe2acm

Seven years on, I still passionately believe Britain is at its best as part of a family of nations inside the EU. But for now, I'll take this strong majority for joining the Single Market. However you voted in 2016, it's clear how much this Tory Brexit has harmed our country. t.co/2cP9vbVZxi

Tories looking out for themselves and not their constituents. deserves better. @LibDems are best placed to win here and offer voters a fresh choice. We work hard and don't take people for granted.
RT @redhistorian: I wonder what Dorries' constituents think of all this?

It's tantamount to saying: "If you're not going to give me a peerage, I'm not going to waste any more of my time as your MP".

We've not yet processed what a significant day it's been for Britain and America. The 2016 wave of populist authoritarianism embodied by Johnson & Trump sparked such anger, division and hatred, making so many feel unwelcome or afraid. It is finally creaking under its own weight.
