Another anti Truss headline in the Times. They quote economist Paul Johnson, who was economic adviser to the Government under Blair/Brown and completely missed the dot-com bubble and 2008 crash, and also the Resolution Foundation who are suggesting we raise income tax now! 🙄

Today’s Times headline shows a lack of understanding. Energyy companies who supply us directly make small profits - limited to 2% by OFGEM. It’s the producers who are making the money. We can’t nationalise Qatar or Saudi Arabia!

Natural gas in Europe is $90/MMBTu

Natural gas in US is $9/MMBTu

In Canada it’s $5/MMBTu

No subsidies are required unlike with wind and solar.

This idea that there is a world price is nonsense.

We should be fracking in UK right now!
