@Arron_banks I do tend to agree, whilst we continue with mad net zero energy policies. They are a huge cost burden for no benefit especially when China/Russia & India are pumping out carbon - even if you believe the theory.

@johnredwood Rishi’s problem is that he trusts Tressury orthodoxy and doesn’t have a mind of his own. He is out of touch.

Boris = low tax + high spend❌

Rishi = high tax + high spend❌

Liz = low tax + low spend ✅

@trussliz will restore our economy to growth an success.

This is not going to happen.

I’m as big a Boris fan as the best of them. Resigned from Brexit party to encourage Brexiters to support Boris.

But now it’s time to move on.

Boris got Brexit across the line.

Now we need a new leader to shrink the over bloated state. @trussliz

@Arron_banks And leaving more cash in peoples pockets via tax cuts reduces the pressure on wage demands.

Flash US composite output index dived to 47.5 in July, from 52.3 in June, though this does at least make the relative resilience of '' look even better... 👇

@nadhimzahawi @SimonClarkeMP Hopefully they don’t blow it now and then be in the same boat struggling with electricity bills. Would have been far better simply to reduce bills by scrapping Green levies and maybe reduce VAT. VAT was only ever supposed to be on luxuries. Electricity is a necessity like food.

RT @GBNEWS: ‘The Treasury orthodoxy has been a disaster for the British economy.’

Professor Patrick Minford reacts to Liz Truss saying Rishi Sunak has been ‘captured’ by a ‘Treasury orthodoxy’ that has failed to deliver economic growth.

@OpulusX @tomhfh So they both support the prospective leader who is saying tax cuts are wrong!

Get a grip gentlemen.

@trussliz has the right policies. She has always believed in low tax, small state and scrapping red tape. Rishi has delivered the precise opposite.

@tomhfh The EU are pathetic children who don’t believe in democracy and self determination. Why anyone would want to remain in that shower of an organization is beyond me.

He has raised taxes to the highest level.

He led a team pushing for global minimum corporation tax rates (this is anticompetitive socialist crap!)

He’s passionate behind the Green net zero blob.

He has ripped off drivers at the pumps

@ConsPost @Mike_Fabricant This is a buyers remorse Petition.

We are all sad about Boris’ downfall. It was a relentless attack by MSM since day one. They were out to get him as Brexit revenge.

But we need to move forward now.

@trussliz has better economic policies too and will be a great leader.

@BellaWallerstei His furlough scheme was badly constructed, discouraged work, encouraged fraud and was madly expensive. There were other ways to handle this - it wasn’t furlough or nothing. It was great for large businesses not good for small ones.

@janiceonholiday Precisely. It’s a parents responsibility to ensure their kids are secure. Telling them to ignore doomsayers is a good starting point.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/LanceForman/status/1

@john4brexit Nor have the media. No one from any of the MSM has anything more than a superficial understanding of economics to challenge our politicians effectively. That’s why they focus on cake and parties rather than serious matters of policy.
