I have followed her closely for at least 5 years. She is extremely sound on economics - if you like free markets. Has done a great job on Trade and Foreign Office too and is the most experienced Minister.

Seems that the Office for Budget responsibility (OBR) are against tax cuts.

If I was PM I would scrap the useless and unimaginative OBR and instead setting up a new Office for Civil Service Efficiency - run by people with business experience and incentivised on success.

I agree - @trussliz is best placed to deliver Brexit and a stronger economy.

Europe is in a far bigger crisis than even the UK right now. Far better that we are not tied into it and can steer our own future.

@ntrance @TiceRichard Support for the Reform Party has rocketed today. Brexiters fear that Brexit will be overturned. Maybe Boris joining the Reform Party would help both and put pressure on the Tories. But not sure they would be keen on his net zero fanaticism.

Boris had unique and unmatched qualities and charisma - which will surely be missed.

On the other hand, he didn't get the economics right and his deranged attachment to net zero was debilitating.

@ZacGoldsmith @BenGoldsmith @BorisJohnson The Net Zero nonsense turned many Conservatives against him. Green taxes and subsidies are really hurting domestic consumers and businesses and are a significant factor behind the rampant inflation.

This was a badly misjudged policy.
