Nick Ferrari interview with @trussliz is going brilliantly.

Anyone who thought Liz Truss was wooden needs to look again.

Not one bad answer. Superb responses.

I am more excited about Liz Truss as Prime Minister than I have been about any leader since 1979!

If you caught BBC London News yesterday evening, you would have seen my reaction to London winning the Olympic bid. I wasn't happy. We didn't know if we'd survive, facing eviction.

But after a 4 year battle, we moved 100 metres.

1/3

10 years ago, was the 1st day of the London Olympics.

We had 3000 people at Forman's for the opening night.

We built our own "Riviera" on Fish Island, complete with Beach Volley Ball court, Sunseeker Yacht on the River Lea, Speedo hospitality, nightclub and 20m TV screen.

Listening to LBC now. 4?female callers in a row phoned in to say they welcome wolf whistling and it’s nice to receive the compliment. They said if they didn’t like it, they’d tell the whistlers where to jump.

⬇️ is why I campaigned for Brexit

The EU depends on Germany for funding, and Germany has ripped off Euro members for years benefitting from a cheap Euro.

I always said an external incident would destabilise Germany and risk toppling the EU. It's happening.

Thank G-d we're out!

Businessman and former Brexit Party MEP Ben Habib explains why Rishi Sunak doesn’t have a clue about economics. A great (and short) read.

According to "They Work for You" Website - Rishi Sunak has voted for greater regulation on fracking to extract shale gas than Liz Truss.

That's not what we need right now... we need to get this industry moving, not tie it up in red tape so it can't operate.

I totally disagree with today’s Times leader from the start: “Rishi is a better candidate than Liz”

To the end.. “if the next Con Gov is serious about levelling up, then public spending will necessarily be a part of achieving this goal”

When did the Times become the Guardian?

Rishi seems confused.

In March in a Telegraph interview he claimed there’s a ‘moral’ case for low taxes.⬇️

Yesterday he said low taxes are ‘immoral’ as the extra borrowing puts our children in debt.

He forgets the growth effect he mentioned in March.

Does he believe anything?

In the last few days the pound has appreciated by over 2% against the Euro.

Is the Euro now in free fall as Europe heads for recession and possibly worse or is the pound firming as markets predict @trussliz for leader with lower taxes and higher interest rates?

@VirginAtlantic I have an urgent enquiry about a flight cancellation. Your website is hopeless and your automated bot is totally useless. I need to communicate with a human. Please can you DM me so I can resolve issue.

Letter in the Times today from Patrick Minford. As I tweeted last night, Rishi Sunak lied repeatedly about this accusing and badgering ⁦@trussliz⁩ of wanting 7% interest rates. That was appalling dishonest behaviour. He never said that.

⁦@stephenpollard⁩

Rishi is lying in the debate now. Minford did not say that @trussliz economic plans would lead to 7% interest rates. He said normal rates of interest are 5-7%. Minford said in today’s Mail that he believes Truss’ plans wouldead@to interest rates of 2-4%.

A message for journalists.

If tax cuts are inflationary then tax increases are deflationary.

Rishi Sunak has increased taxes to the highest level in 70 years yet now we have inflation coming through.

Hope you can see that inflation is driven by interest rates being too low.

I agree with Brian

@Nanaakua1 yesterday on @GBNews

He said: "Human beings are not responsible for Climate change and its cyclical".

@BellaWallerstei It’s not just about the payment. We need to break the NHS into manageable size units which compete with one another. Monopolies breed inefficiency.

@KwasiKwarteng @ajcdeane Good move! When the rail workers strike again we should do the same. They’ll have on the job training 😉

@Arron_banks And it’s coming through on energy costs because of net zero derangement. We need to go all guns blazing to restore supply, invest in nuclear, end the crippling subsidies to unreliable, un-storable renewables and get fracking. This should be obvious to anyone with half a brain.
