@spectator This is a very simplistic assessment.

Not making green levies goes hand in hand with not handing out green subsidies - thus costs nothing.

As Conservative policy has proved in the past - when you lower corporation tax rates, more tax gets collected.

In the Con Home leaders debate all the candidates were asked about energy policy and how they would use this to help with the cost of living crisis.

Only one said she would stop climate change taxes and levies. That was Liz Truss. @trussliz Thank goodness she sees sense!
