RT @IndBusNet: Enterprise-the lifeblood of the economy. We need to grab our freedoms and get on with to support the in becoming the most dynamic in the world.⁦@john4brexit⁩ ⁦@BrendanChilton⁩ ⁦@LanceForman⁩ ⁦@julianHjessop⁩

@estherk_k Nor can we spend our way out of it.

Prayer is our only hope.

That and factor 50 suntan lotion

@DPJHodges My concern though is why Michael Gove, who is very nanny statist - championed laws on single use straws for example - is backing her.

@AlanGeraldWard2 @trussliz Yes indeed. The three key elements are:
1. Doing free trade deals
2. Cutting red tap (EU laws)
3. Controlling borders

She is committed on all, and indeed secured 70 trade deals - more than anyone thought possible in such a short space of time

@WEParker67 @trussliz There are strong rumours that Kemi is in a stitch up deal with Rishi orchestrated by Michael Gove and Dominic Cummings. Perhaps a statement from Kemi confirming that she would not be prepared to serve in Sunak Government might give her greater strength.

@WEParker67 @trussliz Also a good candidate as are Priti (if she stands), Suella and Penny. Delighted to see so much coming forward from this side of the party - but also concerned they will split the vote on the right. Would be helpful if they all worked together in some way.

@WeAreYellows49 @trussliz We are out. What counts now is being able to take advantage.

Boris was a leaver, but quite frankly did nothing beyond that.

We need someone who believes in a small state, deregulation and strong economy. That's Liz.

She's NOTHING like Theresa May, who believes in a big state

I've known @trussliz since she was Food Minister & have taken a close interest in her progress.

She was giving sound speeches on being a committed believer in free markets, low taxes & small state, even then.

Coupling this with her broad Gov experience, she'll make a great PM.

@MetricSqLtd @Cmcallister008 I've heart mutterings that the report is not unhelpful. it would be good to get this confirmed asap.

As @KwasiKwarteng is on @trussliz team, perhaps he can confirm and they can include fracking as part of her proposals to deal with the cost of living crisis. It a no brainer.

Well said be my former colleague and friend @benhabib6 why Rishi Sunak must not be leader.
RT @benhabib6: The ⁦@Conservatives⁩ will implode if they elect ⁦@RishiSunak⁩ as their next leader and therefore Prime Minister.

@danwootton The BBC should not be trying to influence the outcome. Outrageous. Assuming he doesn’t win, gives even more reason for other candidates to scrap licence fee.

@richardcalhoun @tomhfh @PennyMordaunt @ConHome @KemiBadenoch But she may be teaming up with Rishi???

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/LanceForman/status/1

@tomhfh @PennyMordaunt @ConHome The best thing about this is that the right of centre candidates between them are doing far far better than the centrists.

RT @DrEliDavid: For the first time Euro 💶 is worth less than US Dollar 💵

This is what happens when an entire continent 🇪🇺 decides to commit mass economic suicide on the altar of wokeness.

RT @Steven_Swinford: EXCLUSIVE:

Nadine Dorries and Jacob Rees-Mogg are expected to endorse Liz Truss, the foreign secretary, for PM tomorrow

They're planning to make a joint announcement - two of biggest Boris Johnson loyalists backing Truss

James Cleverly also endorses Truss in tomorrow's Times

@MorrisseyHelena @SteveBakerHW @cwforward Congrats on launch. This is the way forward.
