It turns out there was no black hole at all. The OBR got its forecasts wrong!

My own business electricity costs doubled from £200k to £400k, 5 months before the war broke out.

This is ALL driven by net zero policy. Prices not higher in USA where they frack.

We live in dangerous times - we could be self sufficient in energy quickly if we get on with this now.

Why do we pay any attention to what the OBR says when they have some of the most unreliable forecasts of all?

⁦@trussliz⁩ was right to ignore them.

As the Office for Budget Responsibility they should focus on ensuring Gov departments are responsible and don’t make waste.
