Worldwide nearly 50 million people are on the brink of famine. The Netherlands will work closely with the World Food Programme for the "Grain from Ukraine Initiative." This allows Ukrainian grain to be shipped to countries like Yemen and Sudan. We must act now and fight hunger.

In Brussels for a meeting with EU #trade ministers. On top of the agenda is the American Inflation Reduction Act that includes measures harming European businesses and industry. It's important to jointly protect EU interests, keeping in mind that no one benefits from a trade war.

Op werkbezoek kreeg ik een beeld van onze inzet voor vluchtelingen die in de regio worden opgevangen. Bij een centrum van VN-organisatie UNHCR zag ik hoe vluchtelingen hun documenten krijgen, waarmee ze verblijf en werk kunnen krijgen 2/4
