RT @AlexTaylorNews: The Mail (for years) : We don't want you foreigners here. Vote Brexit everyone ! Let's send the migrants home !

The Mail (today) : Why aren't you people "turning up" (the sense of entitlement in that verb ! 👇) to pick our vegetables any more ? 🤡

Of course it’s not a waste of time. The option to study something you are interested by is a wonderful opportunity and geography is an enormously useful subject which can lead to a wide range of career options.
RT @sarahkbingler: My son worked really really hard to get into University and plans to study geography. People keep telling him getting a degree especially in that subject is a waste of time. Please stop.

Absolutely agree
RT @cheng_christine: @LNethsingha @PeterThornton10 @jeremyharg @ChristianMoon1 You’re a rare species Lucy!
I couldn’t really see how condos alleviate high prices in the short term, but they might help with the leasehold problem, which contributes to inequality. (Leaseholds also feel a bit scammy to me. I don’t understand why this country puts up with it.)

@cheng_christine @PeterThornton10 @jeremyharg @ChristianMoon1 I was a common hold owner for a while. It is a good system, but it doesn’t fix the key problem in the U.K. which is sky high land prices in particular areas. I think looking at European systems for secure rent may have much to offer. We need a range of changes.

RT @Tom___Scott: Sobering edition of . The global economic crisis is by a long way the worst of my lifetime.

The countries that will weather it best are those with non-corrupt governments that feel a sense of responsibility for their people's wellbeing.

The UK is not one of these.

RT @timfarron: *if* the Met and the Sue Gray report aren’t quite coruscating enough for Tory MPs to acquire the backbone needed to remove Johnson, then standards in public life will have hit a new low. On the other hand: if he stays, then the Tories are toast. So, you know, silver linings…
