RT @LuisaPorritt: As ends, I'm reflecting on my visit to Yad Vashem earlier this week to deepen my knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust.

It was a very moving experience, made more so knowing the names of my own family members are kept there.

Never forget. Never again.

RT @RichardBurgon: Not a single Tory MP voted against a multi-billion tax cut for bankers earlier this year. Remember that when they claim that there's no money to help people through this crisis.

RT @acgrayling: This utterly weird moment! The Brexit minister making the case for why Brexit is a disaster - listen & gasp:

RT @AnExpatWife: The Liberal Democrats have been instrumental in helping us as a group of leaseholders win a tribunal case that resulted in a refund of over £50,000 of unauthorised charges from FCMS and LBS. Thank you !! You have my support @swklibdems @WilliamHoungbo @damian_obr

RT @EdwardJDavey: Of course the Tories want to destroy the BBC. They are destroyers, hellbent on hammering our institutions and all the things we hold dear.

RT @acgrayling: Cause for hope: "Johnson's ratings are terrible: latest YouGov data finds that just 24% have a favourable view of him, 69% say “unfavourable”- a net rating of -45. No PM has ever fallen that low & gone on to win the following general election." Peter Kellner @TheNewEuropean

RT @zarahsultana: A non-verbal black teenager was arrested by the police and detained by the Home Office, who prepared his deportation to Nigeria.

But he’s a British citizen, who has never left Britain and was missing from a Kent hospital.

How is that anything but horrific racism?

RT @libdemdaisy: Bitterly disappointing that not one Home Office minister was present to hear MP's concerns about the yesterday. As just one of my examples 👇shows, the system is a complete mess - the Govt needs to listen to what we're saying and fix it now.

Very true. Admin staff are rarely thanked, but they make a massive difference!
RT @SSMoir: A delayed tweet for to say thank you to colleagues across @CambsCC working in business support, executive support & all our administrative roles. You are the beating 💛 that holds the Council together. Special thanks to my office team - I’d be lost without you!

This is spot on. Sadly when Johnson took over the Conservative Party he weeded out all those with morals or decency. The Conservative Party has been re-drawn in his arrogant, untruthful, disrespectful image. I still know a few Conservatives I respect, but not many these days.
RT @alexhallhall: Those who think "all politicians are the same" are wrong. Such cynicism is the death of democracy. There's good and bad in parliament. But…

RT @algadney: I’ve been boring leader of ⁦@CambsLibDems⁩ ⁦@CllrTimBick⁩ with war stories on the number of drs I’ve gotten to know over the years at Newnham Walk. Reminds us how important it is to be close to your customer base

RT @PrivateEyeNews: Government admits nearly 1 in 10 PPE contracts it awarded - around half a billion’s worth - are suspected to have been fraudulent - but that’s “no higher than standard” for NHS procurement! Full shocking story in the brand new Private Eye, in shops now.
