RT @carolinevoaden: Absolute disgrace from the Mail on Sunday rag, Political Editor Glen Owen and everyone else who saw fit to publish this.
No wonder women don’t want to go into politics - the sycophantic, misogynistic Tory press.
They’re scared of you for good reason @AngelaRayner

I chatted to a friend who is campaigning in mid-Wales today. 12/10 is the report from mid-Wales. He says it’s not that people want to talk about it, but they are 🤬🤬furious with Johnson and the Conservative MPs who let him get away with it. Same in Cambridge.
RT @Trump_ton: Oliver Dowden says "the further away you get from Westminster the less important Partygate is to voters"

RT @AngelaRayner: If you agree that these vile claims are “ludicrous” @OliverDowden - and they clearly are - why have you not condemned the Tory MPs who made them?

You are the Chair of Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party.

What are you going to do about it?

Lovely photo and great to meet you all!
RT @DrHannahWhite: Losing team selfie with David Runciman and @stephenkb ☹️ - the audience at @cambridgeunion did not agree with our arguments that we must all take responsibility for our political system and the leaders it generates

@DrHannahWhite @doctor_oxford @billybragg Yes, not an easy week to be arguing we have the Leader we deserve!

It was great to be involved in this debate, a really interesting discussion about what we need to do to get better political leadership. Many thanks to @NewStatesman for putting this on, and to both teams.
RT @Anoosh_C: Missed the @NewStatesman debate at @camlitfest earlier?

You can still catch up on it online!

RT @helenhalcrow: My best guess is that the ‘woman surprisingly moves legs’ story is a distraction from ‘cabinet members molest staff’.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/LNethsingha/status/1

This makes me SO angry. Women cross their legs when sitting because seats are too high for us to sit comfortably, and because sitting with your legs apart is criticised even more. Yet another example of the small barriers that make being a woman in politics a little harder.

RT @doctor_oxford: This disgustingly misogynistic piece was written by Glen Owen, political editor of the Mail on Sunday. But subs, designers & editor David Dillon all thought it just fine to print shockingly, repulsively misogynistic trash about a senior political figure in 2022. Shame on you all.

Fantastic @shahidarahman so great to see your work recognised in this exhibition!
RT @shahidarahman: Today my portrait went on display for by @luca_rutherford, a public photography project celebrating women taking up public space! 📸

Come see it for yourself outside the @CambJunction gates! The portrait is also on display inside the Junction📍

RT @jamesjpdrake: Fascinating story from the @newscientist – a fossil of “the largest millipede that ever lived” on a beach in Northumberland, apparently the size of a car. The fossil is estimated to be 326 million years old and described as the “largest arthropod ever to have existed on Earth".
