RT @PrivateEyeNews: A mysterious one-day directorship, a £491k loan, a Cayman Island firm specifically designed to keep banking bonuses offshore and a flat refusal to answer the Eye’s question about any of it: the new Eye attempts to untangle the issues around Sajid Javid’s dubious non-dom status.

RT @EdwardJDavey: Hi @BorisJohnson, i’m out talking with farmers in Winchester today - a lot say they will never vote Conservative again. Certainly a better use of my time than listening to more of your lies.

A very exciting time! Welcome!

Just awful. The damage being done to our country by Johnson’s incompetence is horrific.
RT @BrexitBin: "The European Research Council has informed 98 scientists & academics that if the UK’s associate membership of Horizon Europe is not ratified they will be unable to draw €172m in grants. Ratification is delayed due to the UK's failure to implement the Northern Ireland protocol."

RT @PeterStefanovi2: Boris Johnsons Government promises to ‘replicate’ £300m in EU funding

replace it with just £132m

and Conservative MP’s call it ‘a great deal for Cornwall!’

They really do think we are all thick

🔸🗳Vote Liberal Democrat on 5 May for councillors who will fight for our environment.

RT @rpaton11: This is what misogyny in Westminster looks like, and yes the two are stories connected. It’s the acceptance of low level stuff, MPs briefing this shit and journos running it. It’s all a bit of a joke until it’s not, and now there’s a culture where MPs get away with sexual assault

Hmm, not from the things I’ve heard! This looks like something quite different!
RT @johnelworthy: Is @FenlandCouncil the 'best behaved' in the UK? Judging by the conduct committee they must be. I And even the scheduled meeting of 22nd April doesn't appear to have happened. And since 2019 only one complaint has been upheld by the committee

RT @carolinevoaden: Absolute disgrace from the Mail on Sunday rag, Political Editor Glen Owen and everyone else who saw fit to publish this.
No wonder women don’t want to go into politics - the sycophantic, misogynistic Tory press.
They’re scared of you for good reason @AngelaRayner

Lovely photo and great to meet you all!
RT @DrHannahWhite: Losing team selfie with David Runciman and @stephenkb ☹️ - the audience at @cambridgeunion did not agree with our arguments that we must all take responsibility for our political system and the leaders it generates

It was great to be involved in this debate, a really interesting discussion about what we need to do to get better political leadership. Many thanks to @NewStatesman for putting this on, and to both teams.
RT @Anoosh_C: Missed the @NewStatesman debate at @camlitfest earlier?

You can still catch up on it online!

RT @helenhalcrow: My best guess is that the ‘woman surprisingly moves legs’ story is a distraction from ‘cabinet members molest staff’.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/LNethsingha/status/1

This makes me SO angry. Women cross their legs when sitting because seats are too high for us to sit comfortably, and because sitting with your legs apart is criticised even more. Yet another example of the small barriers that make being a woman in politics a little harder.

RT @doctor_oxford: This disgustingly misogynistic piece was written by Glen Owen, political editor of the Mail on Sunday. But subs, designers & editor David Dillon all thought it just fine to print shockingly, repulsively misogynistic trash about a senior political figure in 2022. Shame on you all.
