.@LambethLabour say they are helping those struggling with the yet they have passed on massive price hikes for communal fuel bills, which residents have no control over. This is a total betrayal of duty to protect ’s residents!

It’s also not cluttered with trying to up sell to you-like supermarkets do-confuse you with pricing, tempt you near the checkouts with crap you don’t need or online, where they keep you on their site, stealing more of your valuable time. This way of shopping cuts all that crap

Not only does shopping in this way cost less in real terms, the environmental costs are down massively too, but it taps into something deeper-a sense of soulful happiness that comes from shopping with like minded people-a sort of community-away from materialistic consumerism
RT @NakedLarder: Great to have Green Party Lambeth counsellor using our plastic free shopping service, and collecting by bike. What could be greener than that?

Just picked up the monthly shop-plastic and zero waste free-from ⁦@NakedLarder⁩ in . This is what sustainable living looks like! It beats supermarkets! Such lovely staff. Just bring your refills!

RT @AdrianRamsay: BBC's handling of @GaryLineker is all over the place

This mustn't distract from his message: the Govt's is cruel & we need safe legal routes for claiming asylum

Those without a voice need people to speak up for them
@AlanShearer @IanWright0

Totally agree. Compared to other countries we have amazing public sector broadcasters, who must always be free from power hungry media moguls/corporations, who aid and abet members of governments but expect those members to do their bidding. Current chair of needs to go
RT @EmilyLincOBrien: I pay my BBC licence fee and expect impartiality.

Cancelling @GaryLineker because he annoyed Suella Braverman is not impartial.

Having a Tory donor as Chair of BBC is 1…

@SaveCressingham @pete556 @PeoplesAudit @Jason_Cobb @gamecounsel @brixtonbuzz @BrixtonBlog @WhyDemolish This is totally unacceptable! You only have to wait for one response to your complaint now before you can go to the Housing Ombudsman according tot this announcement from @luhc ?s=20
RT @luhc: Social housing should be safe, secure and well maintained. If your home isn’t, there’s now help to make things right.

I am utterly ashamed of . This seems to offer neither justice nor redress to the family. It seems to me more like a continuation of abuse and is totally unacceptable!

RT @pete556: The company that did the dodgy Central Hill residents' survey in 2016 is in trouble (again). Yes, that survey that residents utterly rejected at the cabinet meeting and subsequent call-in.

Too right @pete556! @LambethLabour have systematically failed residents for so long. Time to send this reminder of what may lie beneath their failure..
RT @pete556: Unfortunately I didn't get the role of housing director at Lambeth Council. I would have loved to have been given the chance to turn things round.

So many things failing!

I hope the new director hits the ground running and residents start receiving a service they deserve.

In @lambeth_council the numbers of long term empty properties up again in 2022 - 1,820. Total number of homes not in use: 2,194! @LambethLabour asleep at the wheel! actiononemptyhomes.org/Handler
RT @emptyhomes: While half a million homes are empty 125,760 children and their families are trapped in substandard, insecure and overcrowded 'temporary' non-homes. Thats 5 kids in every school in Englan…

@luhc What about if residents have received no warning of 4.5 fold increase in their service charge because of communal heating systems, where owners have failed to install individual temperature controls or metres to each home? Residents have no control over this 100% pass on of costs

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/GreenPartySco

According to this ad, people do not have to go through the two/three stage complaint process if they are unhappy with their housing provider. They can now go straight to the Housing Ombudsman. How many more staff has @luhc allocated to the Housing Ombudsman service? @michaelgove
RT @luhc: Social housing should be safe, secure and well maintained. If your home isn’t, there’s now help to make things right.

@CitizenErased22 @UKLabour @Conservatives “Tactical” what does that mean? My original tweet on this thread said where the policy came from - Labour! I don’t understand how this is justifiable in any way

RT @sianberry: A principle of 'first, do no harm' would be a powerful stay against needless demolition - for the battle against climate chaos and also for preserving communities who live in estates under threat. 👋👋💚🏘️t.co/HSn0mxMWY0
