RT @AdrianRamsay: Truly awful news that Shinzō Abe has died.

The events in Nara are deeply shocking and my thoughts are with his family and the people of Japan at this incredibly sad time.

RT @natalieben: 🥾 must not remain in Downing Street a moment longer.

🚨 Questions must be asked about the system that has delivered us a Prime Minister who looks more like Donald Trump every day.

⌛ Time for a urgent constitutional reform now.

Can everybody who missed out on wedding celebrations due to Covid come to Checkers for a big party then, @JamesCleverly?

After all, it does belong to the taxpayer

@WelshEcon It reminded me of Jane Austen’s Mrs Elton: ‘My friends say . . .’ 🤢

RT @Fritschner: Hugh Grant tweeted a request at activists protesting outside Westminster to play the Benny Hill theme on their loudspeakers; when they did it became the soundtrack for street interviews with leading Tories trying explain the situation to the British people

‘This happens all the time’ says @JamesCleverly

I do you begin to wonder whether I’m one of the few people who can remember stable government in this country

We certainly haven’t had it for the past 12 years

Hi @ChrisMasonBBC

Since we’re a parliamentary democracy, isn’t there a way for parliament to express its lack of confidence in Johnson together and its desire for named caretaker replacement?

Or is this another of those questions that falls into mire of unwritten constitution?

The Tories have proved that they are not competent or serious

They put themselves first, then their party . . . the best interests of ‘we the people’ just an afterthought

What can we do about people we know who persist in voting for this party that is destroying our country?

RT @GreenJennyJones: Today ... The second reading of my where we have the first debate of all the issues. Lots of speakers - all parties - hopefully most in support!

A minority of voters in marginal seats choose our government

A tiny minority of largely rich, white, old people choose the leader of the Conservative party

This is not a representative form of government

RT @euromove: Lord Heseltine is right, we cannot ignore Brexit.

It is an economic disaster, and it is mired in controversy and driven by lies.

This guy is the apotheosis of the dangerous self-important half-wits who have taken control of the Conservative party

Yeah… thanks Boris.
