RT @StevePeers: So here's my collection of Braverman's low points

@bbcnickrobinson Hi Nick

Thanks for responding

I think you should interact with powerful people on a professional basis

It’s hard to believe you are objective about people you party with

It’s a bad look

I thought this would happen

Wallace strikes me as a man who values his privacy and his family life

It goes to prove what I've often thought: people who seek high office are the last people who should achieve it

His withdrawal improves Penny Mordaunt's chances
RT @BWallaceMP: After careful consideration and discussing with colleagues and family, I have taken the decision not to enter the contest for leadership of the Conserva…

RT @GeorgeFreemanMP: Ministers should set the highest standards in office.

I’m sorry but this is appalling conduct for a Minister of the Crown.

This is exactly why we need a new Prime Minister: to restore the Ministerial code & respect for the responsibilities of service in public office.

@sparklykitten Our policy is to have them installed at public expense for those lower incomes

But we aren’t the government, and the climate crisis is urgent, so I would encourage those who have savings to spend them this way rather than on energy-intensive consumption

RT @Femi_Sorry: Rishi Sunak's campaign video actually includes this line:

"Do we tell ourselves comforting fairytales that might make us feel better in the moment, but will leave our children worse off tomorrow?"

Looks like you do, @RishiSunak!

It’s going to be really difficult to defend the BBC when the hobnobbing is not only obvious but celebrated by leading political journalists

The relationship should be one of independent holding to account, not partying together
RT @bbcnickrobinson: The @BBCPolitics Time Lords had plenty to talk about at @TheSpectator Summer Party last night. All agree the new Dr - @ChrisMasonBBC - is doing a brilliant job

@DraperOr @JMPSimor It does work well. I’m sorry if you’re having trouble with yours

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/GreenPartyMolly/stat

@exCameramanJim @JMPSimor It’s not huge - the size of an air conditioner. The tank replaces the boiler, so no additional space

Mine cost £8000 for kit and £4000 for fitting

I had a heat pump installed in February

It was so much easier than I thought

And my home is now off gas

Please do read the info and do the same for your own home if you have the savings or can afford a loan

(And yes, of course the should be funded for those on lower incomes)
RT @renewablewriter: A big barrier to uptake of heat pumps is consumer awareness. We've just published a range of tools to engage consumers and demysti…

RT @James_BG: Sunak clearly going to run on the idea he’s the responsible adult who does not want to pass debt on to our children. Worth noting he repeatedly blocked bolder investment in climate action and green infrastructure that could help tackle the biggest debt our children will face.

‘“The evil that men do lives after them”

If the good that Johnson did in his public life is to be interred with his bones, coffin will be light enough. But the evil will weigh heavily on the coming decades’

RT @bphillipsonMP: Ministers aren’t expected to be perfect.

But is it really too much to ask that they don’t treat the public like this?

Brexit would not have happened without the lies and buffoonery of Boris Johnson

Now he’s fallen in disgrace we need to rethink this historic mistake
