💻 International operation switches off websites offering counterfeit goods and pirated content.
🌐 12 526 websites were taken down and 127 365 counterfeit products worth 3.8 million EUR seized during the 13th edition of Op #InOurSites.
Between 8-19 November, coordinated raids were carried out across Europe and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Executive Director Catherine De Bolle visited the Lithuanian Police today and attended the press conference on the case. 📍 Yesterday in Riga, Executive Director De Bolle met with representatives from @Valsts_policija to discuss our continued cooperation #MakingEuropeSafer.
She also was briefed on the new 🇱🇻/🇮🇹-led network of 🇪🇺 homicide units for tackling organised crime related murders.
🚨 Action against criminal website that offered ‘spoofing’ services to fraudsters leads to 142 arrests.
💶 The website is believed to have caused an estimated worldwide loss in excess of EUR 115 million.
