The Chancellor’s decision to reverse the Alcohol Duty Freeze is a huge blow to brewers and pubs. The freeze would have delivered a £300m saving to our industry at a critical time when we desperately need any relief to help us survive and recover.

By announcing an energy price cap for businesses the PM @trussliz has shown she understands how critical the energy crisis is for our sector and how important pubs & brewers are to their communities. Businesses can breath a little easier this winter and hopeful for more support.
