Κατόπιν αιτήματος βοήθειας που υπέβαλε η #Κύπρος για κατάσβεση των καταστροφικών πυρκαγιών που μαίνονται στο νησί, η ΕΕ κινητοποιεί δύο αεροσκάφη Canadair από το αποθεματικό πολιτικής προστασίας της ΕΕ. Η Ελλάδα αποστέλλει επίσης 20 τόνους αντιπυρικού επιβραδυντικού υγρού:
