In an ideal world all war crimes would be investigated as surely as Russia's have been. We don't live in that world. The inconsistent application of justice is not justice. It dangerously erodes rule of law until only might makes right, creating even more victims in the long run.

It doesn't matter what you think of #Catalan independence. If you care about rule of law you must denounce political repression. If an #EU state arrests a politician it doesn't like, to intimidate and harrass her, in breach of her parliamentary immunity and EU law, you stand up.

At a time of record shareholder profits & stratospheric executive pay, there isn't a lot of benefit to talking about a right to equal pay, if it's a right to be treated equally badly. The fight for women's pay must be a fight for everyone's pay to go up to a fair and equal level.
