I would urge everyone to read this thread from @TNInstitute based on @SIPRIorg figures. EU military spending up 183% from one year to next. That's the EU alone. Not including Member States' individual military spending. Militarism does not make us safer; it makes us less safe.

In an ideal world all war crimes would be investigated as surely as Russia's have been. We don't live in that world. The inconsistent application of justice is not justice. It dangerously erodes rule of law until only might makes right, creating even more victims in the long run.
