🌽Corn tops the list of agricultural species with the highest number of applications.
Since 1995, the #CPVO has received over 19.000 applications for agricultural species and the agricultural sector is the second by number of applications.

What appear to be its petals are actually red, leaflike bracts that surround a central cluster of small yellow flowers.
