@_Zeets So does this mean that women are entitied to reparations from every single man that has benefitted from centuries of laws oppressing women? Do I crave all men who never made those laws to feel guilt! No. I don’t blame ghosts for my lot in life like you do.

No one is guilty for crimes they did not commit. Collective guilt is a tool used to incite hate against innocent ppl.

The projection of guilt by association esp when carried onto multiple generations who had no part in accused crime, fuels division, hate and prejudice. The lib/left want it applied conditionally - only to white Brits.

RT @Ayaan: The queue for Queen Elizabeth II is, in a literal sense, a walking and talking rebuff to the online woke who couldn’t resist accusing yet another Western institution of irredeemable racism and colonialism.
In other words: it is NATIONAL IDENTITY in action! t.co/ZRyGPusCs4

@HTawfiq1 And I have great empathy for those that suffered but am as guilty of those things as you are. Atrocities committed by the dead lie with them. In an age of Empires most of the world wld now be guilty if we bore the sins of our conquering ancestors.

@PippyBing Empathy for those hurt by conquering forces across the world by any country that tried it.

@ArchRose90 I was just counting down to Gary Lineker making similar comment...only a matter of time🤣

RT @danwootton: Absolute kudos to David Beckham who queued with other members of the public for 12 hours.

@LBC @mrjamesob What a lot of rubbish. I queued for hours through the night, ppl so keen to be there, travelled so far, were so full of love and the waiting was cathartic part of their grief. Ppl were proud and honoured to queue to say thank you to our Queen. Not surprised you don’t get that

@teajaysea123 @DCMS I can only speak of last night but between 2-4am were the golden hours! Take warm clothes wind gets your bones cold that time of morning.

🐦🔗: nitter.eu/BelindadeLucy/status

@teajaysea123 @DCMS We joined at 2am and queue was 2.2miles, even shorter at 4am but then by 5am peaked up again.

@mhrluscombe @Emmalouisajones We joined the queue to pay respects to the Queen at 1:45am, it was much shorter than it is now and only 8 hour wait so worth early start, wrap up warm! If you have a light collapsible stool that you don’t mind parting with if storage at hall is full defs do it.

RT @StuartHumphryes: I have edited together for you some rare colour film footage of the queues and London crowds for the Lying In State and funeral procession of King George VI in February 1952. Events, just as today, separated by 70 years.

@CJordanjb Christina it was such a beautiful experience from start to finish, everyone so polite and respectful through the night. Change of the guard happened when we were with Her Majesty, it was all v emotional and overwhelming! xxx

@Emmalouisajones It was worth every minute of queuing. So many had come so far and so many of a grand age out at 2am waiting and walking for hours, but well prepared with seats and blankets. Lots of stewards along the way too felt v well organised! xx

We are nearly there..7 hours in. I’ve witnessed top queuing etiquette throughout, plenty of 60,70+ amazing stamina and devotion to the Queen.
