Dramatic, courageous action is needed to sort NIP, EU law reform, illegal/legal immigration numbers, politicised public sector, economy, NHS etc and I see no spine or political will for what is needed. @MarkVipond The Conservatives are responsible for their own demise. They have chosen to squander the trust and faith of millions of 2019 voters, what a waste. Boat crisis, NIP, no EU law reform, 500k immigration, woke public sector - NO excuses they had 80 seat majority.

@wout_xyz @philipstephens You never understood Brexit did you. It wasn’t about our politicians or system being perfect it’s that it was accountable, local, one Parliament to scrutinise and shape close to home. Average voter in UK has much more power now to shape the laws we live under.

@philipstephens There should be no leading member of the EU, balance of power shouldn’t tip to favour one nation over others. You summed up one of the problems the EU has in your tweet. I wish the EU well but v happy we are out of an ever expanding, anti democratic, power grabbing project.
