Good lighting is one key to communication for all;induction loops (no good for profound deafness but very helpful for most hearing aid wearers); teaching speakers to look at audiences;clarifying speech by focus on consonants etc etc etc……

Signing (it’s not a language) is only used as a Comms method by a tiny proportion of UK deaf people. There are a mass of ways of helping us deaf people participate in the conversation - please think more broadly. Sign language is itself exclusive.That’s thé choice of a few only.
