A great visit to @angelshareglass recently, hearing more about their production work and sales. A fantastic local business here in the Stirling constituency.

A pleasure today to meet Armenia’s 🇦🇲 UK Ambassador @VaruzhanN at Westminster, discussing 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿-🇦🇲 trade, human rights, conflict resolution and international co-operation. Much to work upon.

@57FK66 @BrendanOHaraMP @EvelynTweedSNP This was just raised at PMQs, further details expected in the wider Ministerial statement later in the week. A huge issue for rural communities and one ripe for cross-party pressure

The @StirObserver report on our new PM. I don’t think we need another here-today-gone-tomorrow PM to administer a broken UK, we need independence in Europe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺

RT @StirlingPol: Heavy rain is currently causing localised flooding across Stirling and causing drain covers to lift. Please avoid driving unless necessary. If you do drive be extra cautious and mindful of pedestrians and cyclists.

Amid the fluff and nonsense at Westminster, the ⁦@theSNP ⁦@scottishgreens⁩ Scottish Government is getting on with the job, announcing a Cost Crisis Programme for Government. A lot of good work in progress in here 👏 gov.scot/news/cost-crisis-prog

⚡️ Plan to freeze energy bills welcome, but not at the future expense of households and families.

💷 UK Gov should expand windfall taxes on the excess profits of large companies, especially energy firms & scrap any notion of tax cuts for the wealthy.

A thousand times this.
RT @mrjamesob: I'm increasingly convinced that these weird new TV channels set up by non-dom billionaires & staffed by various misfits & rejects are designed to create a media ecosystem in which right-wing politicians can pretend they're facing scrutiny while avoiding proper journalists.

@Rabindy2 @scottishfarmer Ach I really don’t think many Scots farmers voted Leave, some sure but not many. Fishers more so, but even Shetland (most fisheries dependent place by miles) voted 56% Remain. But even at that they all hate Brexit now and know there’s another option.

I believe Scottish Agriculture’s best future is independence in Europe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺, and the track record of PM Truss should have many more looking to that better option soon enough. thescottishfarmer.co.uk/news/2

RT @NicolaSturgeon: Congratulations to Liz Truss. Our political differences are deep, but I will seek to build a good working relationship with her as I did with last 3 PMs.
She must now freeze energy bills for people & businesses, deliver more cash support, and increase funding for public services

❌ Another Tory PM Scotland didn't vote for - the 4th in 6 years.

⚡️ Energy-rich Scotland should not have an energy crisis - it’s been delivered by Westminster’s incompetence.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland deserves a greener, fairer future with independence.

RT @NicolaSturgeon: 47% of the total electorate - worth noting that if the principles of her mooted new referendum law applied here, her election would be invalid
