Ella sadly died as a consequence of air pollution in 2013.

1,200+ deaths in Greater Mcr are attributed to exposure to air pollution each year.

Wonderful to join the Manchester Muslim-Jewish Forum for their dinner yesterday.

In 2005, Henry Guterman Z"L and I organised the first meeting of the Forum as a place where Manchester's Jewish and Muslim communities could come together.

Today I joined @talkcleanairWR to launch their new film highlighting air pollution locally.
 
Clean air is a fundamental right and I know in Greater Manchester air pollution is linked to around 1,200 deaths in the region.
 
We must make our air safe for all.
