His answer was that tenants can use cost-of-living payments designed to support with the astronomical increase in fuel bills (caused by the Tories' policies) to pay their rent, and that he'll review it all again next year.

I really got into the spirit of the Season this weekend, with Gorton Market light switch-on this being the last of the weekend. I enjoyed the carols and seeing Santa’s Grotto. These events make a difference during the winter months, so thank you to everyone involved.

In 2020, nearly 25% of Manchester Gorton residents were in fuel poverty. We know this is higher in 2022.

We need long-term energy solutions - publicly-owned clean, affordable energy produced locally and to insulate millions of homes.

The Gvt has failed to implement recommendations from its own review into criminal legal aid. Dither and delay will not nurse the system back to health.
