RT by @toth_edina: ‼️FM Péter Szijjártó firmly rejected the European Union's migration and asylum pact, stating Hungary's opposition to the political agreement reached by the EU's co-legislative institutions.
❗️Responding to a question about Hungary's role in the pact, including whether it would accept asylum seekers or pay a fee of 20,000 euros per person, FM Szijjártó emphasized Hungary's sovereignty in deciding whom to admit.
🛑The minister firmly stated that Hungary will not allow entry to anyone against its will and strongly opposes any attempts by Brussels or others to dictate migration policies to Hungary.
❌Furthermore, the minister asserted Hungary's independence, emphasizing that Hungary is a country governed by the will of its people, not the Brussels elite, urging the EU to refrain from imposing unacceptable migration measures on Hungary.
👉The migration and asylum pact still requires formal approval by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.
