RT by @karmel80: Worth taking note of this joint statement by Socialist MEPs @schieder & @TPicula who call for an independent investigation into all reported irregularities in Serbia & support thousands of Serbs protesting for democracy & a European future of their country:

• In Serbia, the elections are used as a tool to create an emergency state and uphold the autocratic rule of the president.

• The stability of Vučić’s regime reflects instability of other countries in the region, namely Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Kosovo.

• To enable a better and European future for the region, the EU must stop its appeasement politics towards Vučić.
