RT by @karmel80: Today, I received despondent messages from someone in Ukraine and someone in Taiwan, worried that the U.S. has no confidence, is pulling inward, and can no longer be relied upon. These perceptions do damage to American interests all over the world. If we are perceived as a declining, isolationist power, other countries will hedge their bets & try to cut deals with our adversaries, just like the 1930s.
