With the passing of Henry Kissinger we lose a wealth of practical experience and analysis of world affairs.
His realpolitik was at times contested, but no one can deny his immense impact on international relations.
I had the opportunity to discuss with him on many occasions. I shall cherish the memory and save the notes.
We live in a world where a bit of Kissinger might just be useful.
May he rest in peace.
