I’m also firmly convinced that if the EU had made a firm stand against the destruction of Hong Kong’s freedoms & autonomy, the city wouldn’t today be a major centre of sanctions avoidance. Dithering has consequences, & those will continue to mount if we fail to send a clear ✉️
