@seasylvia2005 Because they are omnivores. A healthy dog also means a fit and happy dog. Mine were never happier than when they were out doing what JRTs do. You’re right it’s instinct. Try and subdue that instinct and you’ll have a very unhappy dog, which will lead to behavioural problems.
