RT by @HelgaTruepel: Many of Israel’s fallen soldiers in this war are reservists, often in their 30s or 40s. These are not professional soldiers but civilians, who were called up after 7/10, leaving family and job behind.
Israel relies on its military reserves (‘milu’im’). This is why the IDF is bonded with civil society more than any other army in the world.
My heart goes out to these brave men’s families.
