The guidelines state that is a "foreign policy for all members of society", incl. those discriminated against bc of "gender identity, origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation or other reasons". It aims to name entrenched power structures & overcome them:

.@ABaerbock herself wants to make sure the guidelines are implemented, but she will also appoint an ambassador for feminist foreign policy (like Sweden did in 2015).

There will be i.a.

▶️ intervention + prevention measures against sexual harassment & sexism

... and how would an EU Feminist Foreign Policy look like? We @GreensEFA have written a paper about it!
It asks i.a. for
➡️ higher levels of representation and participation of women and other marginalized groups at negotiation tables, especially in high-level positions

(10/13)

🐦🔗: n.respublicae.eu/HNeumannMEP/s

➡️ a rights-based approach that prioritises protecting and expanding human rights of women and other marginalized groups
➡️ allocation of considerable resources towards achieving gender equality

(11/13)
