Many cities/regions have adopted more ambitious targets than their national governments in national energy & climate plans. The revision of the National Climate and Energy Plans in 2023 provides an opportunity to engage local/regional authorities in climate & energy governance.

Since 2012, @Miasto_Lodz improved the energy efficiency of 226 buildings. We are struggling to continue the green transformation because of the energy and economic crises. We need #EU, national and regional support. @HannaZdanowska @eumayors @EU_CoR

We are struggling to continue revitalization & green transformation of @Miasto_Lodz that I began over a decade ago with the city budget. Without EU, national & regional funds no city will be able to stay close to its inhabitants by answering to their needs. @HannaZdanowska
