@CarolineLucas the only really tangible benefit I have spotted so far is that any other political parties within the EU who had toyed with the idea of proposing policies to do similar have gone exceedingly quiet about it or quietly scrubbed them from the agenda. Within the brexit-curtain, there is only the loss of profile and amplitude of ex-MEP milk-sheikh Mirage which, whilst a loss, could also be seen as a benefit of sorts.
