Today I was officially awarded the “Prima le idee Oriana Fallaci prize” in Rome for my ongoing work for the protection of European values, against the rampant dictatorship of cancel culture and for the affirmation of women's rights and equal opportunities. Honoured and grateful.
Oriana Fallaci was an amazing strong woman who fought for freedom and never stopped, even when she faced difficulties. An inspiration.
I see this award as an encouragement to continue my work and be your voice for human rights. I dedicate it with all my heart to all the women who were victims of rape and sexual violence. Dignity and justice must prevail.
